I was talking with my cousin yesterday and we started remembering the past events of 2007. So many deaths that occurred in the family, tragedies and heartaches. But one thing we both remembered was the faithfulness of God. We were not better than those that died, nor were we more faithful in the things of God, but only by His mercy are we still standing.
I thank God that even though 2007 was a bad year we still had things to be grateful for. And now we are in 2008, I know it is the year to recover all that we lost in the past year.
I confess that we will not go through what we went through last year.
There will be no untimely death especially among the youths in my family.
We shall all live to the glory of God in Jesus name. Amen.

This post especially touched me. Honestly I dont think I have yet delt with Dads death. Its been almost 2 years. (March 12)

Hi T, I don't know what to tell you. But one thing I know is that it gets better. You don't have to deal with it on your own, let God take care of it. Let go and let Him. You will see that it gets easier.
You know He is closer than a friend to us and He asked us to lean on Him. I pay that God will give you comfort and give you peace in Jesus name. Take heart and know that it is well.
